Our Technician Apprenticeship scheme sees our apprentices follow a dedicated four year programme covering all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, with practical hands on learning on vehicles and Volvo product.

With this apprenticeship, most of your time will be spent at a Dennison Commercials Dealerpoint gaining experience with on-the-job training, however, you will also complete inhouse training at our Ballyclare Depot, who have teamed up with Riverpark College. During training you will complete course modules under the expert guidance of our training team, covering technology in engines, transmission and the latest electronic diagnostic techniques. At the end of your course you will have completed your IMI level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair & Maintenance.

In return for your commitment to learning Dennisons take care of everything else including your course fees, travel expenses and, of course, your wages!

By the time you have finished your apprenticeship you will have made many new friends and gained essential skills that will enable you to succeed in a demanding Volvo Dealership.

Dennisons Bodyshop Apprenticeship sees our apprentices follow a dedicated three year programme covering all aspects of vehicle body repair and paint operations. With this apprenticeship, most of your time will be spent at our specialised Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop in Ballyclare, where you will be provided with an experienced mentor for day to day support and guidance.

You will also spend 3-4 days per month at Riverpark Training and Development centre in Mallusk, the only training provider in Northern Ireland that trains solely for the crash repair side of the motor industry. At the end of your college course you will have completed your VCQ levels 2 and 3 in Vehicle Body and Paint Operation Body Repair. In return for your commitment to learning Dennisons take care of everything else including your course fees and, of course, your wages!

By the time you have finished your apprenticeship you will have made many new friends and gained essential skills that will enable you to succeed in a demanding Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop.

Dennison JCB is the official JCB dealer for construction, industrial and access equipment and generators in Northern Ireland and Donegal. We are currently seeking applications for our Engineer apprenticeship scheme.

The successful candidate will work alongside our time served qualified JCB Engineers and will be supported by a professional Apprenticeship Programme.

Working within the team you will assist and learn from our qualified engineers in carrying out:

· Inspections and recording defects of machines in conformance with manufacturer’s specification

· Repairing and maintaining machines as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer’s specification

Whilst most of your time is spent working at our Dennison JCB workshop in Templepatrick gaining experience with on-the-job training, you will also attend college on day release to gain recognised qualifications.
